On a typical day in Karen, Nairobi, a farmhand was left with no choice but to explain to his boss why he had guests at his workplace. The reason was that the boss had refused to give him permission to have visitors.
According to reports, the farmhand had been working at the farm for a while, but his boss had been reluctant to give him permission to have visitors. The farmhand had been working long hours without a break, and his boss had not been willing to grant him permission to take time off.
"Hawa ni wazazi na mpenzi wangu. Wamekuja kunijulia hali kwani nimekaa siku nyingi bila kuwatembelea. Najua hakuna tatizo wakiwa hapa kwani kuna vyumba vingi vya kulala hapa," the farmhand said.
However, the boss was not pleased with the farmhand's actions and began to scold him. The farmhand was forced to apologize and promise to behave in the future. Eventually, the boss relented and agreed to give the farmhand permission to have visitors.
