Francis Kimanzi's team has climbed two spots to 106th globally, up from their previous ranking of 108th, which was released on October 24.
The team's performance in their second Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Togo, which ended in a draw, could have potentially led to a higher ranking.
Uganda has also moved up two places to 77th, while Ethiopia has improved five spots to 146th. Tanzania has dropped one place to 134th, and Burundi has slipped eight places to 151st.
Senegal remains the top-ranked African country, retaining its spot at 20th, while Tunisia has moved up two places to 27th, surpassing Nigeria, which has improved four places.
The top three teams globally are Belgium, France, and Brazil.
