Senators Paid KSh 5,000 Each to Attend BBI Meeting

Seneta Kipchumba Murkomen has exposed the expenses incurred during the BBI meeting at Bomas on November 28, 2019. According to Murkomen, each senator who attended the meeting was paid KSh 5,000.

Speaking to KTN News, Murkomen revealed that over KSh 25 million was spent on the event, which was attended by 100 representatives from each of the 47 counties.

"When you ask all the senators who attended the BBI meeting, they will tell you that they were paid KSh 5,000 each, and some even got accommodation," Murkomen said.

Murkomen also emphasized that Kenyans should be prepared to attend such meetings in the future.

It is worth noting that the BBI meeting was a closed event, with only invited guests in attendance.
