Kenya has made a significant leap in the latest Fifa rankings, climbing two places to 106th in the world.
The rankings, released on Thursday, November 28, 2019, took into account matches played between October 20 and November 24.
During this period, Kenya faced African giants Egypt and Togo in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) Group 'G' qualifiers.
The Harambee Stars drew 1-1 against Egypt, who were without Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah, in Alexandria on November 14, and registered the same result against Togo's Sparrow Hawks on November 18 in Nairobi.
Francis Kimanzi's side had dropped one place to 108th globally after a 1-0 loss against Mozambique in an international friendly match held in Nairobi on October 13.
However, Kenya's improved performance has now seen them ascend two places, with Egypt dropping two spots to 51st in the world and Togo dropping two positions to 126th globally.
