It's been over a year since Monicah Kimani's mysterious death, and the case remains unsolved.
On November 28, 2019, Pamela, Jacque Maribe's housegirl, took the stand to testify against Maribe and her boyfriend, Jowie, in the murder case.
According to Pamela, she had previously worked for Terryanne Chebet for five years before losing her job at Citizen and moving to work for Maribe.
She revealed that she knew Jowie was an army officer in Dubai, but her main interaction with him was taking Maribe to work, sleeping, and bringing her home.
On the night of September 19, 2018, Pamela testified that Jowie left Maribe's house in her car, carrying a black bag, and didn't return that night.
She also stated that on September 20, Jowie took Maribe to work as usual, but later left again, and at around 1 am, she heard Jowie shouting for Brian to help.
When she went downstairs, she found Jowie's clothes and possessions scattered around, and Brian and his wife were asking for Jowie's ID to take him to the hospital.
However, Jowie was found in Maribe's car at the backseat, with blood oozing from him, and the four of them left the scene together.
Pamela also revealed that she went to check on Maribe's son and found a gun and blood on the floor, which scared her, and she called Terryanne Chebet, telling her that Jowie had been taken to the hospital and it seemed like he had shot himself.
Maribe's mother came home on the morning of September 21, and they cooked and ate together, but Jowie didn't return until the next morning.
