On November 28, 2019, Pamela, Terryanne Chebet's housegirl, took the stand in the murder trial of media personality Jacque Maribe and her ex-fiance Jowie Irungu.

Pamela revealed that she had worked in Chebet's home for over 5 years, but was fired from Citizen in 2016 and moved to Maribe's home.

She stated that she, Maribe, and her son lived together until Jowie moved in with them in June 2018.

Pamela claimed that she saw a gun in Jowie's possession and asked Maribe why he had it, to which Maribe replied that Jowie worked as an army officer in Dubai and also at State House.

According to Pamela, Jowie's work routine involved taking Maribe to work and returning to the house to sleep.

On September 19, 2018, Jowie took Maribe to work and returned to sleep, but later left the house carrying a black bag and dressed in grey shorts, a white shirt, and sneakers.

He left with Maribe in the car, and they did not return that night, with Pamela not hearing them when they came back.

On September 20, Jowie took Maribe to work as usual and returned to sleep, but later left again, and at around 1am, Pamela heard Jowie shouting for Brian to help.

She then saw Brian Kasaine, the neighbour, and his wife come in asking for Jowie's ID, with Brian stating that they couldn't take him to the hospital without an ID.
