On November 28, 2019, a 47-year-old man from Meru County narrowly survived a brutal criminal attack, but his testicles were not as fortunate.

According to reports, the man was waylaid by two men as he walked home after a night out at Kithaku market two weeks prior to the incident.

Confirming the incident, Imenti Central police boss John Tarrus stated that the man's testicles were crushed by hands, leaving him with no choice but to undergo a surgical procedure to remove them.

Furthermore, Tarrus revealed that the two men sodomised the man, a tea farmer, and made off with Sh200 he had in his possession.

Investigations are ongoing, and residents have expressed concern over the increasing crime rate in the area, calling for government intervention.
