Manchester United's trip to Astana on Thursday will see the team field a youthful squad, with four players set to make their debut.

According to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the team's manager, the four debutants are Lee Grant, Ethan Laird, Di'Shon Bernard, and Dylan Levitt.

Grant, at 36, is the oldest member of the squad, while the other three players are all in their teens.

When asked about his team's chances, Solskjaer said, "I think this is going to be an even, tight game. We have some young players. If they’re going to learn to play this games I think it’s a great start for them."

He added, "Not expecting them to dominate but we should compete and challenge. If we went with every first team player then maybe we have a better chance to win the game. But this is the right decision and it’s going to be a great game of football."

More than 300,000 people have applied for tickets for the clash at Astana's 30,000 capacity stadium, with locals preparing for one of the biggest games in the club's brief 10-year history.
