Uhuru's Uncontrollable Laughter at BBI Report Release Leaves Kenyans in Stitches ¶
On November 27, 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto, attended the release of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report at Bomas of Kenya. The event was attended by several leaders from across the divide and citizens.
During the event, ODM MP Junnet Mohamed asked Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen not to raise party concerns while addressing the gathering. Uhuru found this hilarious and couldn't hold back his laughter, which was captured on camera.
For about a minute, Uhuru's body shook with laughter, and he even stamped his foot, shed tears, and clapped his hands. Ruto, on the other hand, looked unamused and watched Uhuru's antics.
The video of Uhuru's uncontrollable laughter has since gone viral, with many Kenyans reacting with hilarious comments. Some even joked that Ruto looked like he wanted to swallow Uhuru.
Uhuru's display of his inner child in public gatherings is not new, and this incident is just another example of his playful nature. The video has added another meme to his portfolio, and it's likely to be remembered for a long time.
