Dennis Itumbi's Shocking Ejection from BBI Launch in Kenya

On November 27, 2019, a dramatic scene unfolded at the Bomas of Kenya during the launch of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report. Dennis Itumbi, a self-proclaimed Digital, Innovation, and Communications Chief in the State House, was forcefully removed from the event.

According to eyewitnesses, Itumbi was seen arguing with security officers behind President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, Raila Odinga, BBI Chairman Yusuf Haji, and Tanzanian Foreign Minister Palamagamba Kabudi.

However, after being forcefully removed, Itumbi was allowed to return to the event and even continued to attend the proceedings.

The incident sparked a heated debate on social media, with some Kenyans defending Itumbi's actions while others praised the security officers for their handling of the situation.

Itumbi has since denied being removed from the event, claiming that he was not ejected but rather allowed to return to the proceedings.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga were in attendance at the event, which was highly anticipated. The two leaders called on Kenyans to put aside their political differences and work towards the country's development.
