On November 26, the BBI report was presented to President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga. The report's official launch took place on November 27 at the Bomas grounds in Nairobi.
However, the event was marred by controversy, with MP Moses Kuria accusing it of being an ODM rally. Kuria has been a vocal critic of the BBI report, claiming it aims to increase political positions for the benefit of some leaders.
Through a Facebook post, Kuria claimed to have attended an ODM gathering at the Bomas grounds, sparking mixed reactions from Kenyans.
"I attended a gathering of ODM politicians here at the Bomas," Kuria wrote on Facebook.
Senator Kipchumba Murkomen also faced backlash for claiming the event was biased. Murkomen has been a vocal opponent of the BBI process, arguing it aims to prevent Deputy President William Ruto from becoming president in 2022.
