On November 27, 2019, Save the Children, a UK-based charity organization, made a significant move in supporting its employees' family life by introducing a new policy offering three months of fully paid paternity leave.

This generous policy, which is one of the most generous in the UK's charity sector, according to a survey by My Family Care, allows both parents to take 12 weeks of leave after birth or adoption at full pay.

Save the Children, founded to improve the lives of children through better healthcare, education, and economic opportunities, also provides emergency aid to victims of natural disasters and conflicts worldwide.

Interestingly, in Kenya, the law provides for a three-month and a two-week paid maternity and paternity leave respectively, while in the UK, employees must take at least 2 weeks leave after childbirth.
