On November 27, 2019, the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) announced plans to reward individuals who expose corruption in Kenya.

According to the BBI, whistleblowers who provide credible information leading to the recovery of stolen funds or the prosecution of corrupt officials will be eligible for rewards.

The initiative aims to encourage citizens to come forward and report cases of corruption, which has been a major obstacle to Kenya's economic development.

By providing incentives for whistleblowers, the BBI hopes to create a culture of accountability and transparency in the country.
