On Wednesday, a devastating accident occurred on the Sotik-Keroka road in Nyamira county, leaving several people feared dead.
A 14-seater matatu collided with a canter at Nyaronde, resulting in a tragic loss of life.
Nyamira county commissioner Amos Mariba confirmed the incident, stating that the exact number of passengers involved in the morning accident was yet to be confirmed.
The injured were rushed to various hospitals in the region for treatment.
