On November 26, 2019, Diamond Platnumz and his wife Tanasha celebrated their son's 40 days in a grand style at their Madale home.
The party was attended by close family and friends, including several Tanzanian artistes such as Khadija Kopa, Rayvanny, Mosso, and Lava Lava.
As seen in videos shared by Tanasha, the party featured a band of Taraab singers and dancers, with the female dancers twerking and shaking their behinds vigorously.
Tanasha was calm throughout the event, watching as guests threw money at her son, while Diamond's sister Esma carried the child during his special day, as per the Muslim culture.
Despite the Tanzanian government's ban on twerking and explicit music, the party seemed to disregard these regulations.
