On November 20, 2019, a tragic accident occurred at Yaya Centre in Kenya, involving a Mercedes Benz driven by musician Otile Brown and a motorbike carrying two passengers.
According to Otile Brown, his car collided with the motorbike, injuring the rider, Mr. Yassin Maina Richard, and two passengers, including DJ Daddy Ramosh.
Fortunately, the injured parties received immediate medical attention, and Otile Brown has since taken responsibility for the accident, admitting liability and compensating the victims.
"To my dear fans, family, friends, and supporters, my team and I would like to officially acknowledge the accident I had on Wednesday the 20th of November 2019 around Yaya Centre involving my car with a boda boda carrying 2 passengers," Otile Brown wrote on Instagram.
He further stated, "My team and I took the injured persons to the hospital and made sure they received the needed necessary treatment and we catered for the resulting bills. Two people had sustained minor injuries and were released on the same night after treatment while the rider of the boda boda Mr Yassin Maina Richard had to be admitted to the hospital for further checkup."
Notably, Otile Brown has also gone above and beyond to support the injured rider, Mr. Yassin Maina Richard, by procuring a new motorbike to replace the one damaged during the accident.
