Samsung Galaxy Devices to Receive Android 10 Update ¶
While Samsung has a reputation for being slow to release Android updates, the company has recently made significant progress in rolling out the Android 10 update to its devices.
According to a leaked upgrade roadmap, Samsung's latest premium devices will be the first to receive the Android 10 update, starting in January 2020. This includes the Samsung Galaxy A30, Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Samsung Galaxy S10e, Samsung Galaxy S10, and Samsung Galaxy S10+.
Other devices that are expected to receive the update in the coming months include the Samsung Galaxy A7 2018, Samsung Galaxy A9 2018, Samsung Galaxy A50, Samsung Galaxy A70, Samsung Galaxy S9, Samsung Galaxy S9+, Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, Samsung Galaxy A10, Samsung Galaxy A10s, Samsung Galaxy A20, Samsung Galaxy A30s, Samsung Galaxy J6, Samsung Galaxy A20s, Samsung Galaxy J6+, Samsung Galaxy J8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 10.5, Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2019), and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019).
It's worth noting that this list is subject to change and may be updated in the coming weeks and months as more devices are added or removed.
Interestingly, devices in the Galaxy M series, which are sold in India, are missing from the list. An early update roadmap had those devices captured, but it's unclear why they are not included in the latest list.
