Siaya Governor Cornell Rasanga's Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) summit has been postponed again, with the event now scheduled to take place on December 4 at the Kenya Medical Training College in Siaya.
The postponement is the fourth time the summit has been delayed, with the initial schedule set for July 17-19 at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University in Bondo.
According to a statement, the governors from the bloc's 14 counties are in Nairobi to witness the handing over of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
County Director of Immunisation Jerry Ochieng' said that the governors will attend the BBI ceremony before proceeding to the summit.
"The summit meeting that was scheduled to take place on the 27th and 28th of November has been postponed to December 4," read a statement shared with the Press.

It is worth noting that this is the fourth time the summit has been postponed, with previous delays citing various reasons including the death of LREB vice chair and Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso.
