Chinese tech giant Huawei has achieved a significant milestone with its latest software release, EMUI 10, reaching over 1 million installations on devices from both its own expansive smartphone lineup and sub-brand Honor.

As of early November 2019, EMUI 10, based on the latest version of Android, Android 10, had been seeded to a wide range of Huawei and Honor devices, including budget-friendly options like the Huawei P30 Lite and the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.

EMUI 10 brings a host of new features, including a new file system, changes to the user interface, and improved mobile gaming optimization, setting the stage for Huawei devices to play a more prominent role in the company's ecosystem.

Notably, Huawei's flagship P30 and P30 Pro smartphones were among the first to receive the beta version of EMUI 10 in early September 2019, with the company expanding availability to other high-end and budget devices shortly thereafter.
