On November 26, 2019, a disturbing video surfaced showing a motorist, later identified as Justus Kamoja, brutally assaulting a female security guard in Nairobi's Komarock estate.
The incident, which was captured by a CCTV camera, showed the motorist repeatedly punching and slapping the guard, even knocking her down with a heavy blow.
Despite the guard breaking free from the attack, the motorist continued to pursue her, shoving and pushing her around.
Thanks to the swift action of the public, who contacted the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) about the incident, Mr. Kamoja was arrested and will be arraigned in court once necessary police action is complete.
DCI Kenya took to Twitter to announce the arrest, stating that Mr. Kamoja, a 30-year-old suspect, will face charges in court.
