Reality TV star Bridget Achieng' has been focusing on her new projects and motherhood since the passing of her mother in March this year.

Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke in a candid interview, Bridget shared fond memories of her mother, describing her as a great person with a good heart and a patient nature.

'My mum had a good heart and was very patient with people,' Bridget said.

She recalled the last message she sent to her mother before her passing, which was a photo of her son Sekani. Her mother had insisted she send the photos, and that was the last message Bridget had sent her.

On the day her mother passed away, Bridget received a call from her mother, who advised her to be patient with people and not to expect too much from them. She also told her to continue being nice to people.

Bridget revealed that losing her mother at a time when her career was just picking up was painful. She wished her mother had more days to live, as she had wanted to see her grandchildren.

She shared her journey to motherhood, which involved trying to conceive for five years. She had tried with three different partners before finally getting pregnant with her son Sekani.

She recalled how she was introduced to her Nigerian baby daddy by a friend, barely a week after breaking up with her Ghanian boyfriend. She fell in love with him at first sight and they started dating after partying together.

However, things took a turn when she got pregnant. Her partner was initially okay with the pregnancy but later told her to abort the baby. He offered her any amount to get rid of the pregnancy, but Bridget couldn't go through with it.

Despite the challenges, Bridget doesn't regret having a baby. She says it's been a great journey as a mother.
