Stacy Michuki, the 18-year-old granddaughter of the late Minister John Michuki, has been flagged off by President Uhuru Kenyatta to represent Kenya in the Miss Universe pageant.
Ms Michuki met with President Kenyatta at State House on Monday and Deputy President William Ruto last week Thursday, ahead of the global showdown on 8 December at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.
"At the end of the day, I am grateful?? I had the honor to meet His Excellency Deputy President William Ruto and I couldn’t be happier. I thank you for the kind invitation to flag me off, God bless you, God bless Kenya????This is Miss Universe Kenya," said Stacy Michuki.
Ms Michuki will face 80 other beauty queens from across the world for the highly-coveted crown.
