Vanessa Mdee, the Tanzanian songbird, has made her relationship with Nigerian-American actor Rotimi official on Instagram.
On Monday, she posted a picture of the two on a date in Atlanta, Georgia, captioning it 'Monday Night is Date Night?.'
While the couple has previously shared each other on Instagram stories, this latest post suggests that things are getting serious between them.
Vanessa Mdee, 34, had previously hinted that she was ready to spend the rest of her life with Rotimi, 30, in an interview with Tanzanian radio personality Millard Ayo.
She revealed that it took her only two days to realize that Rotimi was the one for her, saying, 'We took a break na tuliahidiana kwamba hatutashika simu, tutachukuwa muda kidogo wa kupumzika, tutaweka pembeni social media and just talk and feel. And it took me two days to know that huyu ndio mwanaume nitakuwa naye maishani yangu yote.'
Vanessa Mdee also praised Rotimi, saying he challenges her intellectually and advises her, 'Lakini ana busara sana, yaani anakuzidi busara. Rotimi ako hivyo ananishinda busara pengine ni kwa sababu ameishi Marekani. Au ameishi katika maisha ya kuona na kujifunza mengi mapema. Ni mtu ambaye ananipa ushauri ambao sijawahi pata kwa mtu yeyote duniani.'
