On a fateful Thursday, Willie Murphy, an 82-year-old bodybuilder from New York, found herself in a life-or-death situation when a young man attempted to break into her home.

According to Murphy, the man knocked on her door, claiming to be sick and asking her to call an ambulance. However, Murphy, who had just won an award for her weightlifting skills earlier this year, was not fooled.

She called the police but refused to let the man inside, sensing something was amiss. Suddenly, she heard a noise and realized the man had broken into her home.

Undaunted, Murphy grabbed a nearby table and used it to defend herself. 'I took that table, and I went to work on him. And guess what? The table broke,' she said.

Despite the table breaking, Murphy continued to fight, jumping on the man until he fell to the floor. When the police arrived minutes later, it was the intruder who needed medical attention, not Murphy.

Police reported that the suspect was intoxicated at the time and was taken to the hospital. Murphy, on the other hand, is not pressing charges, showing her remarkable sense of justice.

Friends of Murphy are not surprised by her bravery, with one friend saying, 'I probably weigh twice as much as her. I wouldn’t want to tango with her. Don’t mess with Willie.'
