Golf: Bosire Keeps Cool to Win at Vet Lab

On November 24, 2019, the Vice Chairman's Putter golf tournament took place at the par 72 Vet Lab Sports Club in Nairobi County. The event was hosted by Vice Chairman Martin Makundi, who was celebrating his second and final term at the helm of the 18-hole course.

Kevin Bosire emerged the overall winner of the tournament, scoring 37 stableford points. Bosire, playing off handicap 17, was in his element as he prevailed over a large field of 144 golfers.

Handicap 16, James Nderitu, won the Men winner prize with a score of 39 stableford points. Peter Njuguna settled for Men winner second on a commendable score of 38 stableford points, while Dhruv Kavia took Men winner third with 38 stableford points.

Seasoned Lady golfer Mary Karano, playing off handicap 10, donned the ladies' gong on a score of 37 stableford points. Elizabeth Nge'the bagged Lady winner second prize on a score of 37 stableford points, while Dorcas Mukabi was third with 34 stableford points.

The day-long tournament was presented by several sponsors, including Vintage Concepts, Precise Logistics, and Mayfair Insurance Company.
