On November 25, 2019, the Harambee Starlets capped off a remarkable campaign by clinching the Cecafa Women's title after beating Tanzania ladies 2-0 in the final.
Substitute Jentrix Shikangwa scored two goals, one in the 70th minute and another in the 87th minute, to secure the title for the Starlets, who had not conceded a single goal en route to the final.
The Kenya ladies turned on the style in the second half, eventually finding a way through the Tanzanian defense in the 70th minute.
Shikangwa's powerful volley in the 87th minute sealed the win for the Starlets, taking the game completely away from the hosts.
