Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for months, and it appears the transfer saga is far from over.
According to reports in Spain, Pogba has recently returned to full fitness after spending time in Miami, where he was spotted with rapper Pharrell Williams and NBA star Jimmy Butler.
However, sources close to the club have revealed that Pogba has asked not to play, despite being fully recovered from his ankle injury.
Journalist Paco Gonzalez claimed on his radio show Tiempo de Juego that Pogba has already fully recovered from his injury, but has requested not to play.
It is believed that any deal taking Pogba to Real Madrid would set the Spanish giants back around £130m.
With Pogba's absence, Manchester United has been forced to recall midfielder Fred, who has struggled to make an impact since joining the club from Shakhtar Donetsk last summer.
It remains to be seen whether Pogba will ultimately make the move to Real Madrid, but it appears that the transfer saga is far from over.
