Harry Kane has expressed his support for new Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho, hoping he can deliver the trophies the team craves.
After Tottenham's 3-2 win over West Ham on Saturday, Kane praised Mourinho's reputation as a 'proven winner' and credited him with giving the players confidence.
'The gaffer's won at every club he's gone to -- there's no hiding away from that,' Kane said.
'He wants to win. He's a proven winner. I've made it clear that I'm at the stage of my career where I want to win trophies.'
Midfielder Eric Dier echoed Kane's sentiments, calling Mourinho the 'perfect' replacement for former manager Mauricio Pochettino.
'His record is unbelievable and he transmits that confidence. The way he speaks, you believe it, you feel it from him,' Dier said.
