Ngina Kenyatta, a director at The Kenyatta Trust, has shared her vision for uplifting Kenyan youth through education and social empowerment.
As a director, Ngina explained that her role is perfect for her, citing her desire to see Kenyan children receive quality education after completing primary school.
“After completing my degree in International Relations and Politics, I found myself constantly being led by a desire to see that Kenyan children continue to receive quality education after completing primary school,” Ngina said in her profile posted on the trust’s website.
Ngina continued, “Through The Kenyatta Trust, we plan to bring up children who are not only equipped with the academic know-how but are well-rounded in all aspects of life. It is my hope that we are able to raise a generation of leaders who inspire others not only with their words but by their everyday actions.”
She emphasized the importance of instilling core values such as service, leadership, integrity, justice, and peace in the students, which will eventually be passed down to their families.
Ngina noted that The Kenyatta Trust plays a significant role in the lives of the youth, providing support to young leaders who will positively impact society and have a story to share with their own children.
