The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced the closure of several major Nairobi roads on December 1, 2019, to facilitate the Grand Nairobi Bike Race.

According to a notice by KURA, traffic along Lang'ata Road, Uhuru Highway, Haile Selassie Avenue, and Bunyala Road will be interrupted from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes, as stated in the notice: "Motorists are advised to use alternative routes," the notice read.

Additionally, KURA has announced a 10-day closure along Ngong Road, starting from December 2, 2019, due to ongoing works aimed at improving the junction.
