Prostitution is a common phenomenon in many Kenyan towns, but in Nakuru, a group of sex workers has taken the game to a whole new level.
They have formed a sophisticated organization, complete with a 'merry-go-round' system, where older members retire and new ones get recruited.
Each week, the women contribute Sh1,000, which is given to one of them for personal development.
But that's not all - they have also formed a Sacco, where they save money and give loans to members.
According to Emily, a prostitute who spoke to Crazy Monday, the group is very helpful, and many of its members are living large.
She claims that one founding-member has taken two of her kids through secondary school, and that the group is very disciplined, with heavy fines imposed on those who break the rules.
Emily also revealed that the women are well-known by staff at the nightclubs they operate from, and that the bouncers offer them security.
But what's most surprising is that the group has a system in place to deal with clients who try to take advantage of them.
According to Emily, if a client fails to pay, the women will call the bouncers, who will come and deal with the situation.
It's a far cry from the stereotype of prostitutes being vulnerable and exploited.
Instead, these women are organized, disciplined, and determined to make a living in a tough industry.
As Eric, a reveller, put it, 'These women make good money, especially from foreigners. Early in the night locals can hardly afford them. Local residents only stand a chance much later in the night, when they are a bit desperate.'
It's a testament to the resourcefulness and determination of these women, who are determined to succeed in a world that often seeks to exploit them.
