On Monday morning, a devastating flash flood swept away a vehicle carrying five members of a family, resulting in their tragic deaths.
The incident occurred at Ngatatoek area in Kajiado Central constituency, a region still reeling from the aftermath of a landslide that claimed 43 lives in West Pokot County.
According to reports, the vehicle was recovered downstream, but authorities have yet to confirm whether there were any other casualties.
Just days prior, a landslide in West Pokot County had buried alive 43 people in the villages of Nyarkulian, Muino, and Parua.
