On November 27, 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta will unveil the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report at the Bomas of Kenya, inviting 4,700 Kenyans to the event.

The President has ordered the Ministry of Interior to ensure that 100 representatives from each county are invited and transported to the venue for the public unveiling of the report.

However, President Kenyatta and Prime Minister Raila Odinga will receive the report on November 26, 2019, at State House Nairobi.

Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya confirmed that he would be attending the Bomas event, adding that he is working together with his county commissioner to prepare the 100 representatives.

Politics have also played out in the plan to unveil the report publicly as MPs allied to Deputy President William Ruto claim to have not received invitations.
