On Sunday, a 13-year-old boy from Tayari area in Molo, Kenya, was reported missing, just three days after undergoing circumcision.
According to his parents, the boy's sudden disappearance has left them in shock, and they fear he may have been kidnapped.
The boy's father, Macharia Karanja, expressed his concern, stating that his son was still in pain from the circumcision exercise and could not have fled on his own.
'We do not know where he is because he does not even have a phone. We think he might have been carried away because he was not in a position to even walk,' pleaded Mr. Karanja.
The Nyumba Kumi Chairperson, David Kinyua, has appealed to the public and the police to help in tracing the missing boy.
