Published on November 24, 2019, an Arsenal fan expressed his disappointment with the team's performance in a 2-2 draw against Southampton.
Speaking to AFTV, the fan criticized Lucas Torreira and Mattéo Guendouzi for not doing enough to contain Southampton's attack, particularly in the run-up to the second goal.
"Secondly, the second goal… Torreira, Guendouzi… they think they were doing a marathon? They were jogging… like Kenyans! No! No! With all due respect to Kenyans, what I'm trying to say is, they were not showing urgency. What's that?", the fan said.
The fan's comments come as pressure mounts on under-fire manager Unai Emery, who is facing criticism for the team's poor performance.
Arsenal currently sits in seventh place in the 20-team English Premier League standings.
