Deontay Wilder's incredible one-punch knockout power was on full display on November 24, 2019, as he retained his WBC heavyweight title against Luis Ortiz at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Despite being outclassed by Ortiz in the early rounds, Wilder showed his trademark resilience and landed a vicious right blow in the seventh round that left Ortiz laid flat on the canvas.

Ortiz failed to make the 10-count, and Wilder was declared the winner, retaining his title in the most spectacular fashion.

With this victory, Wilder sets the stage for a highly anticipated rematch against Tyson Fury, which is expected to take place in February.
