On Sunday, November 23rd, 2019, the North Eastern regional finals of the Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom youth tournament will be held at the Garissa Teachers Training College Grounds in Garissa County. Defending champions Berlin FC from Garissa will face Al Ansar from Wajir in the highly anticipated match.

Berlin FC secured their spot in the final after a convincing 4-0 win over Al Mumtaz from Modogashe. Abdalla Maro opened the scoring in the 37th minute, and he added a second goal in first-half extra time. Abdi Somo Gede and Abdi Karim Bashir scored the third and fourth goals in the 53rd and 82nd minutes, respectively.

Al Mumtaz's players were sent off for foul play as the game drew to a close. Yusuf Abdi Yusuf received a second yellow card in the 84th minute, and Faid Abukar was given a straight red card in the 86th minute.

Despite going a man down, Al Ansar managed to hold off Mandera's Admiral to a penalty shoot-out, where they prevailed 5-4. This set up a repeat of last season's North Eastern regional finals with Berlin FC.

The winning team will receive Sh200,000 and an opportunity to compete at the national finals in June 2020. The losing finalist will pocket Sh100,000.
