Liverpool Maintain Top Spot in Premier League with 2-1 Win over Crystal Palace

Published on November 23, 2019, Liverpool's Premier League title aspirations received a significant boost as they edged Crystal Palace 2-1 in a closely contested match.

Senegalese star Sadio Mane opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 49th minute, courtesy of an assist from Andy Robertson.

However, Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha equalized for the Eagles in the 82nd minute, receiving an assist from Andros Townsend.

But Liverpool's Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino had the final say, scoring the winner in the 85th minute to seal a crucial 2-1 victory for the Reds.

With this win, Liverpool maintained their position at the top of the Premier League standings with 37 points from 13 games.
