On Saturday, Tottenham Hotspur marked Jose Mourinho's return to English football with a thrilling 3-2 win over West Ham United at London Stadium, ending a 10-month Premier League away win drought.

Goals from Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura in the first half, and another from Harry Kane after the break, sealed West Ham's fifth league defeat in seven games and piled pressure on manager Manuel Pellegrini, whose side is struggling to stay out of the drop zone.

However, Mourinho will be concerned about the two late goals conceded by Spurs, which were scored by substitute Michail Antonio and Angelo Ogbonna, capitalizing on familiar defensive errors.

After an early effort by Kane was ruled out for offside, Son opened the scoring on 36 minutes, sweeping past Papa Diop and firing past West Ham's unconvincing goalkeeper Roberto for his sixth goal in as many games.

Mourinho celebrated his team's first goal, and his mood improved further before the break when Dele Alli's outrageous scooped pass freed Son on the left, allowing him to deliver an inviting cross that was forced home by Moura at the back post.

Kane was left unmarked to head home Tottenham's third on 49 minutes, moving him to third on Spurs' list of all-time scorers, behind Jimmy Greaves (266) and Bobby Smith (208).

Declan Rice had a late effort disallowed for offside by VAR, but the result was never in doubt, with Ogbonna netting West Ham's second deep into stoppage-time.
