On November 22, a disturbing video surfaced showing Ibrahim Taraiya, a supervisor at Eastmatt Supermarket in Kajiado, physically assaulting a female cashier.
The Director of Public Prosecution has since ordered Taraiya's immediate arrest, citing the severity of the assault.
According to the DPP, Taraiya will be arraigned in court on Monday to take plea on the assault charges.
Eastmatt management has condemned the physical abuse of employees and stated that the cashier is receiving medical treatment.
