Seneta Millicent Omanga has issued a stern warning to ODM leader Raila Odinga following the violence that marred the Kibra by-election.

Speaking at a thanksgiving ceremony for the residents of Kibra who voted for Jubilee's McDonald Mariga on November 7, 2019, Omanga said ODM was to blame for the violence.

"I want to inform you that ODM has a history of violence. We shared the election with the expectation of peace, and that's why we did not retaliate," Omanga said.

She added that the DP Ruto's army would be deployed to protect his supporters during the 2022 general election.

Omanga was speaking at the Bomas of Kenya during the thanksgiving ceremony for the residents of Kibra who voted for Mariga.

She thanked the residents for turning out in large numbers to vote and for their support during the election.

Omanga also warned Raila Odinga that if he planned to cause violence in 2022, he would face opposition from Didmus Baraza and Nickson Korir.

"I want to tell Raila that if he plans to cause violence in 2022, he will face Didmus Baraza and Nickson Korir," Omanga said.
