On November 23, 2019, a dramatic scene unfolded in Imbiakalo village, Malava, Kakamega County, when police intervened to rescue two pastors from vigilante justice.
The pastors, affiliated with Nazareth Winners' Church, were caught in the act of engaging in a threesome with a married woman, leaving residents shocked and outraged.
According to eyewitnesses, one of the pastors managed to escape, while the other was arrested and taken into custody at the Malava police post.
'The pastors were having sex with my wife and the spouse of my neighbor,' one of the aggrieved husbands said. 'It hurts me that I found them engaging intimately in my house. That is despicable and disrespectful.'
The incident sparked widespread condemnation, with residents calling out the pastors for their hypocrisy and disrespect towards married women.
'These pastors are baffling us by the day,' an elderly resident of Imbiakalo said. 'Two pastors, two married women, in one room? That is pure disrespect!'
It remains to be seen whether charges will be preferred against the two pastors.
