President Uhuru Kenyatta's Sagana Summit Sparks Outrage Among Young MPs

President Uhuru Kenyatta's recent summit at Sagana State Lodge has sparked outrage among young MPs in Kenya, who claim the event was a deliberate attempt to sideline them and promote elderly politicians.

According to sources, the summit was attended by a number of elderly politicians, including a 81-year-old former MP from Molo, John Njenga Munga, who was seen advising the President.

Young MPs have taken to social media to express their outrage, claiming that the summit was a clear attempt to marginalize them and promote a new generation of politicians.

One of the young MPs, Moses Kuria, was quoted as saying: "There are people who want to destroy the President's legacy by sidelining him. The summit was not meant to honor the elected leaders, but to show that there are other people who can be used to push the BBI agenda."

Another young MP was quoted as saying: "It seems the President wants to work with elderly politicians who are no longer relevant in the current political landscape."

The summit was attended by a number of elderly politicians, including Askofu Peter Njenga, who is 80 years old, Mutahi Kagwe, who is 61, Kiraitu Murungi, who is 67, and Njeru Ndwiga, who is 65.

Young MPs have also expressed outrage over the fact that the elderly politicians were given a platform to speak, while they were not given the same opportunity.

President Uhuru Kenyatta's decision to hold the summit at Sagana State Lodge has sparked a heated debate among young MPs in Kenya, with many calling for him to be more inclusive and representative of the country's youth.
