Kenyan singer Akothee was hospitalised on Thursday, just days after returning from a trip to Dubai.
According to her Instagram post, Akothee's system 'shut down' and she was rushed to the hospital, but she assured her fans that she is not dead.
"This life, you can only occupy one bed at a time, bloggers don't scare my family and fans, I am not dead! My system just shut down, I will be back," she posted on her Instagram page.
Thousands of her fans wished her well, with many expressing their concern and sending get-well messages.
