On November 21, 2019, Star journalist Eric Oloo was found dead in Sabina Kerubo's house in Ugunja, with deep stab wounds. The incident has sparked a love triangle theory, with Kerubo and Oloo's wife, Lucy Atieno, at the center.
Atieno, who spoke to the media for the first time, revealed that she had been married to Oloo for years and had two children with him, including a newborn born just days before his death.
She recounted their last conversation, which took place on Tuesday, when Oloo inquired about their newborn child. They spoke again the following day, with Oloo planning to meet her and even mentioning that he had bought Christmas gifts.
Atieno revealed that she had reunited with Oloo early in the year and conceived shortly afterwards. The couple's relationship was complicated, with witnesses painting a picture of a love triangle involving Oloo, Kerubo, and a chef who was Kerubo's lover.
According to witnesses, on the night of Oloo's death, Kerubo left the house with her lover, leaving Oloo sleeping in the bedroom.
