According to the Nation, the awards ceremony will take place at the opulent Grimaldi Forum in Monaco from 8:15 pm local time (10:15 pm Kenyan time).

For the men's award, Eliud Kipchoge, who won last year's top men's award, will be competing against Uganda's 10,000 meters world champion Joshua Cheptegei, American world champions Sam Kendricks and Noah Lyles, and Norwegian 400 meters hurdler Karsten Warholm.
Kenyan Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed and Principal Secretary Kirimi Kaberia are in Monaco to offer support for Kosgei and Kipchoge.
"The fact that the top government officials are here is very humbling for me," Kosgei said in a pre-awards interview.
