As the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination comes to a close, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has assured the nearly 700,000 candidates that their results will be released before Christmas.

Speaking at Kapsisiywa Secondary School in Uasin Gishu County, Prof Magoha emphasized the importance of timely marking to allow parents to plan ahead for their children's post-secondary education.

Marking of the exams is set to begin next week, with Prof Magoha and other education officials working to ensure that the process is completed efficiently.

On Friday, Prof Magoha oversaw the opening of the KCSE exams, accompanied by Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang and other county education officials.
