On Saturday, November 23, 2019, the basketball world in Kenya will witness a thrilling play-offs semi-final match between Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) and Equity Bank, the reigning men's and women's champions.

At the Nyayo National Stadium Gymnasium, Equity Bank's women's team will take on the University of Nairobi's Dynamites, a newcomer to the women's Premier League, in a best-of-five series play-offs semi-final match.

Meanwhile, at the KPA Makande Gymnasium, KPA's men's team will face off against Strathmore University Blades in a tight Game Two of the semi-finals.

Coach Abe Nson's Storms will host former 12-time champions KPA in another high-profile women's semi-final showdown, starting at 2:30 pm.

Coach Juma Kent's Dynamites, who were promoted to the women's Premier League this year after 25 years, are poised to shake the bankers with their secret approach.

Consistent scorers Vallery Kemunto, Liz Okumu, and Faith Atieno have been delivering goods for Dynamites and remain key actors when they take on experienced Equity.

Coach Juma Kent said, “Reaching the semi-final is a big achievement as newcomers and we have gained confidence to meet experienced opponents without pressure.’’
