Uhuru Kenyatta: Wait for BBI Report Before Criticizing ¶
President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged Kenyans to wait until the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report is released on November 26, 2019, before criticizing it.
Speaking at the University of Kabianga, where he is the Chancellor, Uhuru said it is not wise to reject a report that has not been released.
"It is foolish for someone to say there is no problem in the country that needs to be solved," Uhuru said.
He added that there is no need for insults, as some people have suggested, since they do not understand what is in the report.
Uhuru was speaking at the University of Kabianga, where he was also launching the female students' hostel.
The BBI team, led by Yusuf Haji, had earlier announced that it would submit its report to the President and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on November 26, 2019.
