On November 21, 2019, the Mashujaa Awards celebrated outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities.
Among the winners was Babu Owino, the Embakasi South MP, who was awarded MP of the Year for his outstanding service to the people of Embakasi South.
Esther Passaris, the Nairobi Women Representative, was also recognized as the Woman Representative of the Year at the same awards.
Babu Owino received the award for his excellent work since his election as the MP for Embakasi South.
Other winners at the Mashujaa Awards included Esther Passaris, who was crowned Woman Representative of the Year.
